Barbados Beaches

Barbados, a world renowned Caribbean resort, is surrounded by over seventy (70) miles of glorious white sandy beaches fringed with palm trees and lapped by warm crystal clear waters in just about every imaginable shade of blue. Barbados can boast a year round tropical climate that is close to perfection and a holiday maker's dream.

Where better to meet a Bajan (native of Barbados) than on the beach.  The laws of Barbados stipulate that all beaches are public and therefore for the enjoyment of everyone, locals and visitors alike.  Being home to some of the finest beaches in the Caribbean, rest assured, in Barbados there is no shortage of choice when it comes to sea, sand and sun.

Barbados, still true to its English roots, may be considered a bit conservative.  Vacationers should therefore note that nude and topless sunbathing is against the law.  Also, the Caribbean sun can be potent in large quantities therefore, whilst here on holiday, the use of sunscreen is essential.

For an unforgettable adventure, hire a car for a few days and explore for yourself the lovely beaches of Barbados. There are so many, you may never have to visit the same one twice.  The most popular beaches are usually in close proximity to great restaurants and a variety of vacation accommodations.  So why not wake up to the awesome view of the Caribbean Sea?

Drive along the coastline and experience the breath-taking scenery Barbados has to offer. Picnic on the sand or enjoy an endless variety of savoury exotic dishes while dining at one of the many bars and restaurants scattered along the coastline.
